Wedding Planning Business Intern

Night and Daye Events is looking for an outgoing student, passionate about the wedding industry and learning about running a small business.

As an intern, you will gain valuable knowledge of putting together a day of timeline, wedding design, and day to day activities of maintaining a small business.

Responsibilities:

- Prep social media with new and engaging content

- Research content for our blog

- Attend staff meetings

- Update Client Files

- Client Communication

- Inventory management

- Attend networking events with team

- Create internal documents

- Must complete 5-10 hours of office time a week

Requirements:

- Ability to present yourself professionally and within the NDE brand at events

- Attend monthly staff meetings, occasional networking events

- Possess the skills to correctly judge what appeals to the ideal client

- Familiar with Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram platforms

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Flexible schedule and ability to work nights and weekends

- Must live in Hampton Roads or Williamsburg Area

- Must have reliable transportation

- Energetic, personable, organized and professional individual

- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

- Knowledge of Google Docs, Canva and Trello

- Must have willingness to travel if necessary

Wedding Day Assistant

As an assistant, you will gain valuable knowledge of putting together a day of timeline, wedding design, and maintaining a small business. Assistants will work with owner to execute the plan on wedding day including setting up and breaking down wedding items, escorting guests and following the details outlined in the timeline.

Wedding Assistants must possess the following qualities: the ability to diplomatically and assertively deal with complex situations and individuals, be responsive, pro-active, reliable, efficient and friendly.
