Meet Courtney and Will | A Williamsburg Engagement Story
I am back!! Boy oh boy did the house renovations suck me in! But good news, my wedding season is about to kick off and my home office is finished! Now I will give you more details on all that but today I am going to introduce you to Courtney and Will, my first couple of the season- and let me tell you, their love story in one made for Hollywood!
Courtney made a last minute decision to spend New Year's Eve in Williamsburg, Va with some of her friends from William and Mary. She and a few friends were the only ones dancing when Will appeared in and confidently told her she was his next girlfriend and invited her to explore Richmond with her the following day, New Year's Day. That was their first date.
Three years later, Will and Courtney were celebrating NewYear's in NYC with some friends and family. Courtney thought it was odd how adamant Will was to have a living room in their hotel room. But Will insisted that it was incase he sisters wanted to spend the night in the city at the end of the night. After checking in to their hotel in SoHo, the couple went to dinner at a nice Italian restaurant, where Courtney ended up getting grease on her blouse. Back at their hotel, Will, a true gentleman, helped Courtney get the stain out with soap and a blow drier. Once satisfied the stain was no longer visible they returned to the living room where Will begun telling Courtey how much fun he had with her over the past three years. It was then that he knelt on one knee and asked her to marry him, in which Courtney said yes! They joyously celebrated their engagement and New Year with their friends and family, who were waiting for them just out side their door!
Will and Courtney are most looking forward to celebrating their wedding day with their friends and family, just like on their engagement day. They look forward to being partners in life, supporting each other's dreams and pursuing all of their shared goals together.
They have been a dream to work with and I can not wait to see them tie the knot!
